Marysville

With over 69,000 residents, Marysville is the second largest city in Snohomish County and was the fastest growing city in the state of Washington in 2015. Depending on where you are in the city, Marysville offers both an urban and rural feel. A little over 30 miles from Seattle, Marysville offers a lower cost of living than the big city. The community has a long history of logging and agriculture, once home to vast strawberry fields – earning the place the nickname “Strawberry City.” Each year the Strawberry Festival is held to celebrate city’s rich history. Downtown Marysville offers shops, restaurants, and historic homes. During the summer months, the community puts on outdoor summer movies and a weekly farmer’s market.
