Greenwater is a census-designated place in Pierce County. The population was 67 at the 2010 census. Greenwater is located west of Crystal Mountain on State Route 410. This town lies in a densely forested area surrounded by designated wilderness areas including Norse Peak, Clearwater, Mount Rainier, William O. Douglas, Tatoosh and the Glacier View Wilderness areas. Look for family owned and operated eateries, espresso shops, and Wapiti Woolies, which is well-known for their hand-crafted hats. Greenwater is well-positioned near a multitude of recreational activities including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing and downhill skiing at nearby Crystal Mountain.
